This southern Virginia wedding day was filled with surprises. Before the afternoon showers at The Market at Grelen push our backup rain ceremony plan under cover, we spent the morning full of laughs and sentimental traditions. Â When I first met Andrea and Hunter during their engagement session, they had the most infectious joyful and loving energy. This only intensified with the wedding day celebrations!
They modified a few special wedding day traditions and choose not to see each other before walking down the aisle. Instead they shared an intimate first touch, with hand written vows to read in private. They prayed over each other and their future family, and all of the tiny moments that led them to find each other. We were so lucky to squeeze in all of their pre-ceremony wedding party photos before a summer storm. Unfazed by the location adjustments, these two were giddy to explore the property for golden hour when the storms finally passed and OH BOY was it worth it! After all of the romance and happy tears passed, the celebration on the reception dance was one of the best I’ve ever witnessed!
This post is JAM PACKED with some of my favorite images of the year, from the spontaneous dance parties, sweetest family first looks, and best hype crew surrounding them on their biggest day. It’s worth a scroll!
