I love exploring any new destination photoshoot location. Emily and Chris suggested finding a spot close to their wedding venue in Downtown Leesburg. I was so excited to spend the day exploring the quaint town, getting a bit of work done at a coffee shop and soaking in sunset portraits at Oatlands Historic House. With spring fast approaching in Virginia, these cozy photos filled with green and blooming trees, brought the best vibes. Their wedding aesthetic is inspired by a Bridgerton Garden party, and getting to explore the farm property for their engagement session didn’t disappoint.
Emily and Chris are effortlessly photogenic! These college sweethearts have the cutest chemistry. We quickly sorted through their outfit picks to choose something classic with a little southern charm. Their personality shines through so brightly with the fun and playful energy in front of the camera. I’m so fortunate to have so many incredible couples make their rounds as bridesmaids in previous weddings which makes the process even more personal getting to hang out a few times during the year!
I can’t wait to celebrate these two at their wedding in the Fall. If you’re on the hunt for a few additional secluded engagement session locations check out this mountainside Charlottesville Engagement HERE!
