King Family Vineyard is easily one of my favorite venues in Charlottesville Every direction you look, you are met with beautiful views of mountains, horse stables, vineyards and so much more! For Amanda and Andrew, this venue was sentimental and especially meaningful to both of their families. Walking through the stables and watching the newly married couple interact with each other, as well as the horses, was such a sweet moment to witness.

This wedding had the largest group family photos I have ever taken. Some of them even had 40-50 people! Their friends and family truly came together to celebrate them and their love for each other. This was the first wedding day in weeks without a chance of rain in the forecast! All thanks to Amanda and Andrew who made sure to bury a bottle of bourbon on King Families property a few weeks earlier. Following the ceremony they celebrated with their wedding party, digging up that bottle to share a few shots.

Luckily for Amanda, a UVA grad, Andrew and his family of Virginia Tech Hokies, welcomed her in with open arms. This rivalry definitely made for some fun moments throughout the wedding. Andrew and all of his groomsmen were repping their VT socks and even made sure to play “Enter Sandman” to get the reception crowd excited! With Amanda and Andrew being equally competitive, strong-willed, and full of emotion to be married. It was such a joy to meet these families and see all of the details come together perfectly.
