The Barn at Edgewood offered the most rustic, yet elegant experience for one of the most beautiful weddings that I have been lucky enough to be a part of! Liesel & Mark’s Wedding day was the perfect intimate ceremony located just outside Charlottesville Virginia. The peek of Blue Ridge Mountains made for the most picturesque scenery, especially for an early summer wedding.

Their wedding day called for 100% chance of rain, Liesel and Mark didn’t let it stop them from having the absolute best day! Every chance we got, we rushed outside to take advantage of the clear skies. I am always amazed by my couples with zero hesitation to get the perfect photos. Liesel & Mark didn’t even hesitate to ride through the rain in an uncovered golf cart to get some just married portraits.

This wedding was a dream come true for these middle school lovebirds!! At times it even felt like a Louisa High School reunion, especially with the endless throwback music on the dance floor! The emotional speeches from members of the wedding party left everyone teary-eyed, including me!! There was just something so special about seeing this blended family coming together to celebrate Liesel & Mark’s longtime love and new marriage.
