When we first met for Christina & Ryan’s engagement shoot in 2019 we were shuffling our holiday schedules to find a time and location to meet while they flew in from Atlanta! We stumbled upon Chisholm Vineyard in Charlottesville Virginia and the private mountain views, open fields, and winery vibes as the perfect spot. Fast forward, 2 years, 3 dates, 4 venues, and a pandemic later, and fate brought us all back together to Chisholm Vineyard for their wedding day! I could not be more grateful to be one of the only remaining wedding vendors from their original plan!

Christina and Ryan’s wedding began with their afternoon Ceremony at St. Thomas Aquinas near UVA’s campus. Years early when they were planning their wedding day their biggest worry was that the updated renovations to the chapel would not be done in time.. Ohhh how little we knew then! After their ceremony we hopped over to the UVA lawn for some wedding party portraits in the intimate gardens and Rotunda! Despite having to battle the crowded graduation photoshoots we still managed to capture some amazing scenic moments that meant so much to these two UVA alumni! Our final destination of the evening was at a private lakehouse on Chisholm Vineyards property. They had the most amazing intimate setup with 30 of their closest friends and family! Even though there were quite a few special guests who could not be in attendance, their heartfelt speeches were played via web recording and facetime calls throughout the day! Christina and Ryan celebrated well into the night with dinner, dancing, sunset walks, and even a surprise hot air balloon viewing in the distance!

I’m so thankful to have grown so close with this family throughout the last few years of planning and can’t wait to show you a few of my favorite moments below!
