I am in Awe of my couples and their ability to bring to life their dream wedding! Even when that means 4 location changes, running through football stadiums, and bussing through cville traffic with time to spare for a relaxing glass of wine before greeting their guests at the reception! Seriously Kevin and Kristin were champs on their wedding day, so calm and prepared for the perfect Fall wedding day, although I expected nothing less from these two, who have worked in the athletics world for years and are used to managing huge sporting productions!

Kevin & Kristins wedding day begin at the UVA chapel for a classic Catholic ceremony with a twist, it might be the first wedding I’ve ever heard the officiant start a ceremony with “GO HOO’S”. With the football game starting over at Scott stadium, we were lucky to get some private bridal party photos over at the UVA rotunda and then onto the most adventurous part of the day!

We snuck the bridal party into the Football stadium to say hi to a few of Kevin & Kristins coworker and enjoy a slice of cake thanks to the media department! They must have been good luck, cause 30 seconds after walking into the press box, UVA scored its first touchdown of the day! WAHOOWA! After our football excursion, we raced back to the bus and headed down the road to their final destination at the gorgeous Early Mountain Vineyard!

The night ended with some gorgeous sunset vineyard portraits, dreamy Fall reception decor, and the sweetest family tradition I have ever seen! Once the dance floor opened for the night, Kevin escorted his grandmother Eileen out for a celebration to the song “Come On Eileen” where family took turns dancing with grandma!
