I am so excited to share Darcey & Chris’s wedding day! From the first time I met them for their glamorous DC engagement, I knew they were going to put on a show stopping wedding. The attention to details, personal touches, and breathtaking decor made this one of my favorite and longest blog posts!

Their wedding day was FULL of first looks, from the first time Chris saw his beautiful bride…to finally joining their families together and watching Chris’s son Drake, welcome Darcey as his new step mom. I’m not gonna lie I got choked up more than once during their wedding day, and when Darcey saw her brother for the first time was definitely one of them! Darcey’s family lost her father last year and she asked her brother to walk her down the aisle, to see his protective instincts and gentle nature come out throughout the day was so touching!

Their ceremony featured a beautiful moment of unity in which Darcey, Chris, and Drake all watered a plant that would grow with them in their new home. After the kisses and cheers from their guests, the sun peeked out for an epic sunset and some final bride and groom portraits until we LITERALLY had to outrun the rain as we could hear it coming over the mountains!

After all of these touching moments in the morning everyone was ready to celebrate at the after party! Darcey and Chris, treated their friends and family to some delicious Fall themed signature cocktails, an elegant whisky bar, and Darcey even surprised Chris with a hand rolled cigar station, this might be one of the coolest wedding vendors I’ve ever watched in action!
