The venue at James Monroe’s Highland is filled with breathtaking landscape. The property is the perfect backdrop for wedding portraits from private gardens, mazes of boxwoods, and endless mountain views. The secluded ceremony location was perfect for Danielle & James’ intimate wedding and sharing some of the most touching personalized vows.
Danielle and James were friends for years working for UVA football before they finally started dating. They soon became inseparable and all of their friends and family knew it was forever. A few months into wedding planning, amazing job opportunities took them across the country to start a whole new adventure! I’m so glad they could come back to Charlottesville, the town where it all started, to celebrate their Marriage!
Danielle and James’ wedding day was even more fun than usual since I’ve been friends with these two for years! Their guest list was filled with tons of mutual friends and an evening of throwback dancing. They even brought out a few late night sweet treats from Nightingales in Richmond.
All of their details came together beautifully, and I can’t wait to share an inside look through the images below!
Thank you for the incredible vendors who made Danielle & James’s wedding day possible!
