This Bridgerton-inspired garden engagement session in Leesburg VA was extra special—not just because of the dreamy details, but because the bride is someone I’ve known since we were kids I met up with Sam and Andy at Oakland Estate, full of blooming florals, vine-covered trellises, and the kind of golden light that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a storybook. Their playful connection truly made my job so easy, frolicking through the boxwood paths and playing dress up in the most stunning vibrant colors. Who says you have to wear white for every phase of your engagement year!

They’re tying the knot this spring in Charlottesville, Virginia, and if their engagement session was any hint, their wedding is going to be stunning. A few weeks after our session Sam and Andy headed cross country to Chicago for new jobs and adventures. I can’t wait to be reunited this Spring to celebrate all of the joy and incredible friends and family their love story has brought together!
