Megan & Conner’s Charlottesville wedding was one I have been looking forward to for months!! After working with the incredible team of local vendors, I knew that all of the details for their wedding at the King Family Vineyard would come together perfectly.

With the unpredictable summer heat in Virginia, we weren’t sure what to expect for their July wedding date. We were greeted with the most beautiful, shade covered ceremony and the perfect orange sunset glow!

It’s not very often that I get to hang out with my couples outside of their engagement and wedding day. I was so fortunate to be able to photograph Megan & Conner’s Rehearsal Dinner at Pippin Hill Vineyard the night before. With panoramic views of the mountains and the most touching speeches from their family and wedding party. It was the perfect way to kick off the celebrations.

Looking back on all of the events, it was obvious just how loved and cherished this couple is by all of their guests. Plus, this couple has the most infectious energy and even their smiles can be felt through their portraits. Check out some of my favorites below!

Megan & Conner included so many special touches into their wedding day.

They started with a private first look in the vines at King Family, where they shared their personal vows and toasted with some champagne before joining their wedding party for the official photos and ceremony! They even included traditions like digging up the bourbon, and even opted to eat dinner in private to enjoy a few more moments alone before the reception festivities.

Their dance floor was packed all night with a lively band and glowing props, that made for a few hilarious moments. Megan and Conner ended the night with a whisky and Cigar bar, while roasting a few s’mores in the bonfire out back. Their guests sent them off in style with a sparkler exit as Megan and Conner head to their next adventure moving to Austin Texas!
