I received this proposal inquiry the day I moved to Richmond and it was the BEST welcome to town present ever! As Logan share the details behind his surprise romantic proposal to his girlfriend of 7 years, I knew it was going to be such a memorable day!

Logan planned out every detail from a morning of anniversary surprises, to the exact spot he would pop the question to the love of his life Gabby! He even had me coordinating the details with one of his best friends so that Gabby wouldn’t see him texting! It was all set to be a smooth engagement until about an hour before our set meeting time we found out the original proposal location at Maymont was closing early that day! CUE THE PANIC! We quickly scrambled to find a new location at Bryan Park and I scouted out the location with just as epic of a background that Logan was hoping for!

I’m so thankful for Logans trust in picking a new location and playing along with the act while we secretly got Gabby into position for the big proposal moment!…Most proposals involve a secret photographer in the bushes…but I have to say its so much more nerve racking when you have to interact with the couple before the big moment!! Gabby was told that they were having a mini photoshoot for their 7 year anniversary, so we spent the first 15 minutes together trying to act “normal” giving them posing direction and make sure she didn’t think anything suspicious… to make things even more complicated Logan and I had to manage a ring swap TWICE without Gabby noticing!
