Oh my gosh it brings me so much joy to share this post! A few months ago Alex reached out to me on Instagram to see if I was available to photograph his epic surprise proposal. When Alex started this planning process, he knew needed to include Lexie’s favorite thing… Highland Cows, now if you don’t know what these adorable fluffy creatures look like go ahead and pause your scrolling and google it now! EEHHH so much cuteness! well Alex hit the jackpot and found the perfect quaint bed and breakfast with baby Highland Cows to feature in his proposal plan. Now when it came to the logistics of this incredible day, Alex had every detail mapped out, include an amazing hand drawn illustration of their path through the property, complete with cow emojis and the spot where he would pop the question. 

Lexie and Alex were traveling from their home near DC to “visit friend in Charlottesville” But in reality they were stopping by the perfect quaint B&B, The Farmhouse at Beautiful Run, in Madison Virginia for the surprise of a lifetime. Not only did Alex plan out a photographer for when he popped the question, but he also rented the entire property for their families to stay and watch the secret proposal from the windows! Lexie was speechless the entire time, with surprise after surprise, and it was such an incredible moment to be able to witness!  

It was so much fun to hear all of the stories about the months of planning and secret photos and text messages to keep Lexie from gettin suspicious! It was obvious just how bonded these two families were already and overcome with joy for this incredible couple to start planning their wedding!
