Finding a new portrait location, close to home in Richmond is a HUGE WIN! Getting to finally photograph an engagement session at the Richmond Capital was the perfect way to celebrate with Brittany and Scotts! After a year of construction and renovation, this was the first time I’ve been able to photograph at this iconic location. Having a city engagement session is always a vibe! The crisp white column and open space away from the hustle of downtown, gives the perfect classic look you would expect from traveling to DC for the monuments… but without the tourists! Their session day this summer was a hot one, but that didn’t stop these two from gracefully cuddling up for a few portraits. I still can’t believe how secluded and private this location in the city was!
