Booking a Branding Session is always a nerve-racking step for your business. The excitement and pressure of trying to capture the essence of your brand through photos takes some careful strategy to understand your client, style, colors, and messaging you want to convey. Getting to document the Deline team had such a clear vision it made this full day branding session one of my favorites!

There are some clients that come with an instant connection! When I first met Cat it was actually in my search to help my brother book a wedding photographer, and funny enough I actually ended up booking her as my own wedding photographer. After realizing that I also photographed brand portraits we were so lucky to get to work together multiple times this year! Her team of associates located in the Norfolk, Virginia area were full of energy and never taking life too seriously. I loved her transparency and the similar style of vibrant colors and movement.

Pulling together the strategy session for the Cat Deline team included inspo of retro colors, disco balls, laughter, and a whole lot of dance moves. This team of confident female photographers is all about approachable portraits, and empowering their clients. The studio space at the Groves in Norfolk VA was the perfect clean backdrop. Cat even brought her own yellow couch to be a focal point of their mock happy hour set up! We wanted that instant comfort to come through in the posing, and they certainly delivered. Their energy is truly infectious and has me cheesy smiling every time I scroll through!

This full branding session included multiple outfit changes, the BEST hype playlist, and two locations. Ending our session at the beach, which is the backdrop of so many of the Deline Team client portraits. This gave us to chance to showcase some barefoot portraits in the doors and escape into nature with the soft sandy glow of golden hour!
