Payton and Peter are naturals in front of the camera and their energetic sense of adventure made for an amazing date night! Their engagement session in the mountains at Ravens Roost Overlook, looked straight out of a style magazine. We even ended the night with a tailgate picnic in their truck bed at sunset, one of my new favorite photoshoot theme ideas!

This was the third time I’ve had the joy of photographing Payton and Peter! When I booked her sisters wedding in Richmond, VA two years ago, I had no idea how many times I would get to work with this incredible family. Last year I got to help document Payton and Peter’s Dental School graduation with a few city overlook portraits at Libby Hill, before they went their separate ways for a long distance engagement. This year we were reunited for one of my all time favorite engagement sessions with panoramic mountain views at Ravens Roost Overlook!
