Booking Caylee & Blake’s wedding a month before moving to Richmond, Virginia, felt like divine intervention. I had an instant connection with this amazing couple and put at ease any doubts about relocating my business to a new town! The months leading up to their wedding at The Virginia War Memorial confirmed this even more. There wedding was filled with most HDP couples in one place! So when it came time for their wedding day I felt way more like a guest than a vendor, with all of the familiar faces and was able to enjoy the dance floor in-between epic photos with 3 amazing HDP couples! 

The morning started with a misty fog over the city of Richmond, but luckily their venue was filled with amazing open air memorials with coverings to keep the rain off of this adorable couple! Caylee’s incredible dress featured an amazing transformation with removable sleeves to surprise Blake and her guests. Plus her veil was one of my all time favorites, and floated so perfectly! The dreary weather parted just in time to have their ceremony outdoors overlooking the city, the way the couple had envisioned! The pavilion seating at The Virginia War memorial was the perfect unique ceremony seating to give everyone the perfect view of their vows.

Caylee & Blake are one of the most generous and kind hearted couples I’ve ever met. That sentiment was echoed throughout all of their family speeches. Plus after years of dating these two families were fully ready to call it official! I’m so excited to share an inside look at this amazing wedding day! Caylee and Blake are my go-to reference for all of the best restaurants in Richmond, and so thankful to call them my real life friends, and catch up at a few upcoming weddings as guest!
