I absolutely love exploring new locations during my sessions. Julia and Jack choose the beautiful Freemason Historic District in Downtown Norfolk to capture a few engagement portraits! These cobblestone streets and views of the boat docks were perfect for a few windswept and cuddled up photos!
Julia & Jack met years ago volunteering with the UVA rescue squad, and their life together since has been anything but boring! After getting engaged last Fall they spent the first few months together in Norfolk finalizing wedding plans. It was so wonderful to squeeze in their session this summer before they spend the next few months long distance. Julia is beginning her residence for Med School and Jack is headed to the West Coast before being deployed with the Navy. I know that the next year will fly by and can’t wait to be a part of their wedding next summer!
I had so many favorites it felt impossible to choose! Julia and Jack had the most infectious personality and love for each other that comes through so clearly on film! Keep scrolling to see more!
This time last year I photographed another amazing couple near VA beach! Check out Sarah & Patricks engagement session at First Landing State Park HERE!
