Sarah and Patrick’s wedding day began with a mix of emotions and pressure exploring at a new venue, and quickly turned into one of my most relaxing and fun wedding days!! I have never been more in awe of my couples. 4 days before their wedding at Williamsburg Winery, Sarah and Patrick had to cut their guest list by over half. Among the chaos of Covid that also meant that incredibly important family, friends, and even bridal party members couldn’t attend due to medical necessity and job obligations. ⁠

Even Patrick’s oversees deployment got extended and Sarah spent their year of engagement as a long distance fiancé, planning their wedding via email! ⁠When I first met these two a few months earlier it was the first time they had gotten photos taken together, and you would never know! They were incredibly comfortable and suprisingly at ease despite all of the last minute planning switches.

ALL of this crazy, would make any normal person overwhelmed and hardened… but not these two. Their entire wedding morning was spent laughing and celebrating, and they didn’t even hesitated when their originally planned outdoor ceremony was moved inside by summer storms. I never saw them complain, or hold back their excitement and were simply overjoyed by the fact that they were finally married. ⁠
