Ive had my handful of nostalgic engagement sessions, but this dorm room reunion had to be my first! You all remember your freshman dorm… the one with no air conditioning, and the flights of stairs to climb with piles of book and the one you got lost trying to find on your first week of class… well the front steps of that very dorm are where Faith and Sam first met. Their love story started as friendship through their years attending UVA together and eventually grew into a marriage proposal at the Kennedy Center!

Faith and Sam came back to where it all began to celebrate their engagement. Even the summer thunderstorms couldn’t stop us from capturing this special time! Despite the gloomy weather, the rain helped clear the crowds on UVA’s grounds, where we were able to capture some incredible moments.
