You will spend more time on your wedding day with your photographer than any other vendor, or even your future spouse! I truly believe the best photos are made when we are comfortable together and finding a photographer who is your perfect fit is SO important in bringing your wedding day to life. I know there are TONS of options in choosing vendors, and endless questions, so I am here to guide you through the whole process!

your wedding day

wedding morning

It's the morning of your wedding! Hopefully you are relaxing with your best friends, getting your hair done and sipping some mimosas...I love starting off the morning photographing your bridal details and mixing these elements together to tell the story of your wedding day! This is the perfect way to warm up and get creative before the big moment when you start getting your dress on!

This is one of my favorite parts of the day! There are so many benefits to adding this romantic addition into part of your wedding. Every bride wants “that reaction” the moment their groom breaks down and sees her walk down the aisle. Luckily you can have the best of both worlds! These first look moments are so intimate, and allows the bride and groom to feel totally themselves, this private setting allows most grooms to feel comfortable and much more likely to show their true emotions. This is your time to be together, and ALONE! When else does this happen on your wedding day.

After your first look we typically sneak off for a few romantic portraits, then meet up with your best friends to capture all of your bridal party portraits. This is another huge bonus of a first look, it allows you to take care of almost all of the important photographs before your ceremony, so you have plenty of time to enjoy cocktail hour and reception while you celebrate with your guests!

the first look

This is when the fun REALLY begins, Of course you want your best friends to have an amazing time during your wedding day, and I love to make sure the bridal party portraits are effortless, and as quick as possible, so they can enjoy cocktail hour and mingling! One tip to help these portraits go as smooth as possible is to have all of the groomsmen ready with their boutonnieres on and gals bouquets in hand when its time to start these portraits!

bridal party

In a world filled with social media, Pinterest weddings and magazines filled with bridal gowns, its easy to get overwhelmed.. while all the details and planning are important touches to make this special event come together...this moment, the vows and the lifelong promise are what it's all about. It's important to never lose site of the real purpose of this amazing day!

ceremony

You have just finished saying “I DO” and are ready to celebrate with your family! Most of your guests will proceed to cocktail hour and your immediate family will stick around for a few portraits! This portion of the day will be filled with excitement, and joy for the new Mr. & Mrs. and can easily take longer than anticipated! I will make sure to send you a questionnaire about 6 weeks before your wedding where you can list your family formal groupings and help this portion of the day run smoothly, and quickly, so we can move onto your just married portraits!

cocktail hour

The best time of the day for your portraits is during golden hour! This occurs the final hour before sunset! This time changes with the seasons, but is an important factor to consider when planning out your timeline! These are the images you will frame on your wall to cherish every day and share in family photo albums for generations to come. This portrait time is a perfect opportunity to love on your NOW husband or wife, and really enjoy each other before the reception fun begins!

B&G portraits

This part of the day you can truly make your own! I have seen everything from low key bonfires and smores, to traditional dances, and hilarious games. I've even seen quite a few grooms hoisted on shoulders and surprise wedding cakes! Whatever style your event takes, you will want to make sure you have a plan for every aspect. Your Day Of Coordinator and DJ can help make this part of the day run perfectly, so you can focus on celebrating with your new spouse, family, and friends!

evening reception

There are so many options for your wedding exit. My most popular wedding package includes 8 hours of coverage. This often covers all of the main events from the wedding morning through the reception dances. If you're interested in having your exit photographed there are a few options, you can add extra hours of coverage or plan a FAUX exit! This allows you to capture the excitement of this moment in images you are dreaming of, and the party continues when you return.
