How do I prepare myself, and family for my photoshoot?
When is our payment due for our mini session?
Weather in Virginia can always be unpredictable, I plan my mini session dates with a buffer day before or after incase there is serious rain in the forecast we reschedule. We will try to stay flexible with weather plans since some morning or evening sessions might be perfectly sunny and 15 minutes later downpours! Just remember overcast skies are a photographer's dream, so never fear a gloomy forecast.
Be sure to arrive early and in your preferred outfit so we can get started with photos as soon as your time slot begins! If you arrive late to your session that will cut into the amount of time we are able to photograph together and ultimately could impact the number of images in your final gallery! Since my mini-session days are built specifically to be able to serve multiple families in one day, we can not swap time slots or extend your photoshoot on the day of!
Depending on your portrait session type, I'll be sending a few specific resources to help get ready! For family sessions always be sure everyone is fully dressed, and with snacks on hand for little kids, (we’re not above a little bribery here) Same goes for including your dogs into photoshoots, be sure to bring along toys or treats as well as a handler who can help grab their attention, and hold your pup for a few human only shots!
Your payment due at the time of scheduling your mini session. payment holds your time slot, and is ensures I can't book anyone else for that time! In the event of a client cancelation a 50% refund will be granted, unless we are able to fill your time slot. Payments can be made easily online via credit card payment, or contact me specifically to do a venmo payment. Your final gallery will be delivered after all outstanding balances are paid!
